He is one of the a group of creatures known as "Bunyuns" and there is something special about Bunyuns in that they are one of the few creatures that are friendly with Bonyips. Now, Boddly is a strong, but friendly fellow and is seens as the leader of the Bushys and leads them through many adventures.
